Noor Brandt creates figurative sculptures that exude a certain joie de vivre. The stories, movements and shapes of her humans and animals bring a smile to the faces of viewers.
Noor (1956) started her artistic life painting, but after 2000, her fascination for canvas gradually gave way to sculpting.

Noor’s drive to continually grow in her art and craftsmanship led her to study at the Wackers Academy in Amsterdam (2008-2013). After completing this classical art academy, she continues to work every week with other sculptors on figure sculpting. This collaboration is a source of inspiration.
Noor works from her atelier in Zandvoort. She usually first works with wax to make a mould and only when she is absolutely satisfied with the sculpture, is it cast in bronze or neolith. Over the last few years, Noor’s work has been shown in various galleries and exhibitions, and has reached national and international art lovers.
Noor Brandt creates honest and figurative sculptures – what you see is what you get. Her stories are about movement, size, shape and balance.
Noor entered into a partnership with Arthur Meijer van Meijer | Schaap Art Agency on 1 August. He will take care of the formal affairs in the background, but naturally the creative process remains in the hands of Noor!
